Privacy policy
Pocket CyberLab uses one account and one server-authoritative learning record across the website and Android app.
Information we use
We use account details needed for sign-in, learner profile fields you choose to provide, learning progress, Missions, Field Notes, community activity, privacy settings, and provider-verified subscription state. Android device registration stores only the minimum installation and notification preference state needed for secure sync and opted-in delivery.
What stays private
Email addresses, billing details, private Mission Notebook content, terminal evidence, and private account data are not exposed through public profiles or share links. Public profile and community surfaces apply the account’s privacy settings and server-side authorization.
Learning and security
The server remains authoritative for completion, current position, entitlements, and permissions. The Android app may cache safe lesson reading and queue retryable progress operations, but it cannot grant access or overwrite newer server records by itself.
Product analytics
To understand learner activation and curriculum progression, Pocket CyberLab records six bounded event categories: account signup completion, lesson starts, exercise completion, checkpoint quiz attempts, views of the existing settings membership card, and observed subscription status changes. These events contain only opaque IDs and the outcome or provider status needed for product understanding.
Product analytics never records terminal history, commands, credentials, passwords, tokens, Field Note text, answer text, contact data, location, or unrelated device data. It cannot grant access, change subscription access, or alter the authoritative learning record. Anonymous local practice remains local-only for these learner events.
The Android app requests no new permission and sends no unrelated device identifier or device data for this analytics stream.
Notifications
Notifications are opt-in and limited to community replies, important account notices, and optional learning reminders. Pocket CyberLab does not request contacts, SMS, call logs, location, storage, accessibility, device administration, or root permissions.
